We remember nothing. When the predators are killed off, the creatures they preyed on over-reproduce and many of them not only starve, they damage the environment before they do. I lived in Taos when deer were starving because wolves and coyotes had been hunted nearly to extinction, for their skins. It’s extremely ugly.
This shows you the level of competence at U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; I not only doubt their understanding of how wrong and stupid this is, I doubt the science to support it. Time to use the courts to shut this down quick.
