Yvonne, the DA in any community or any AG in any state affected by these orgs could launch an investigation. In addition, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS); Federal Trade Commission (FTC); Independent Auditors; and Organizations like Charity Navigator or the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance can also play a role in highlighting issues and prompting further investigation by relevant authorities.
Spaying and neutering IS animal control. I can’t believe that crucial program has been curtailed to increase favorable statistics. That’s NOT animal welfare!
National organizations like Best Friends, the ASPCA, NACA, and HASS are EVIL and avaricious. They have lost sight of ANIMAL WELFARE. They care only about making more money. People donate to them to SAVE ANIMALS, but they do not share donations with local rescues who do the work to save lives.
I no longer donate to national organizations. All my charity donations go to local animal rescues, which I follow to see where my money is used.
