What a wonderful post and suggestion! I have a special place in my heart for crows, especially after God used a crowd to speak to me back in 2012 in more ways than one! The angry, "CAW! CAW! CAW!" from a crow on a speed limit sign in pouring rain caused me to say, "You stupid bird!" and immediately God spoke "THAT IS YOU!" to my heart, showing me that I was complaining too much (about my board of directors at the time, who I eventually forgave)! Amazingly, that bird also prophesied my future in that the new organization that I am now founding will actually have the acronym C.A.W.

Life is too short to remain angry and unforgiving to others. Like Ed suggests, let it go in 2025! You'll be amazed at how free you will feel!

I subscribe to a little book that says 'if a total forgiveness is too hard to consider right now, try thinking that you may be willing to forgive...that being willing will prepare you to accomplish forgiveness'. You are right, forgiveness does not mean forgetting what happened, but rather an unburdening of our life, by not carrying the full weight of the circumstance. Thank you for this post and may you new year be full of joy.
