Good ideas. I would add the caveat that landlords allow spayed or neutered pets. Most animals that aren't altered are breeder animals. If someone has enough money to buy a Berna-doodle, or a Savanah cat, then they should have the money to fix it. Neutered animals cause less damage to carpets and drapes.
